Siebkens Resort – Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin
Best bar on the racing circuit. Siebkens Resort is hiring Bartenders and Barbacks for the season. We’re looking for friendly, outgoing individuals who thrive in a lively, fast-paced, and guest-focused environment.
Shifts are available days and nights across multiple bar settings, including:

Stop-Inn Tavern (high-energy, iconic bar scene)

Cocktail Bar (eclectic, craft-focused environment)
-
Service Bar (supporting dining operations)
-
Event Satellite Bars (private events and weddings)
Seasonal Employment: April through October 31

21+ encouraged to apply for Bartender roles

18–20 encouraged to apply for Barback positions (learn bartending skills)
General Expectations (All Bar Positions)
-
Treat all co-workers, guests, and vendors with courtesy and respect
-
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
-
Perform opening and closing bar duties
-
Deliver a high level of guest service in a fast-paced environment
-
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments
-
Restock and maintain bar inventory and supplies
-
Verify guest identification and comply with all alcohol service laws
-
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately
-
Follow all food safety and beverage regulations
-
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
-
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kegs, glassware, and supplies
Bartender
Pay: $7.25–$10/hour + tips
Hours: Typically 32–40 hours/week
Bartenders are responsible for creating a memorable guest experience through excellent service and high-quality beverages.
Responsibilities

Interact with guests, take food and drink orders, and provide recommendations

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to standard

Create classic cocktails and house specialties with consistency and presentation

Serve food when working independently
-
Maintain bar cleanliness and organization throughout shift
-
Collaborate with barbacks, servers, and kitchen staff
-
Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
Requirements
-
Previous bartending experience preferred (3+ years ideal)
-
Relevant licensing or ability to obtain
-
Strong communication and multitasking skills
-
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Barback
Pay: $10/hour + tip-out from bartenders
Barbacks support bartenders and help ensure smooth bar operations. This is a great entry point into bartending.
Responsibilities

Restock bar supplies (liquor, beer, glassware, ice, garnishes)
-
Change kegs and replace liquor bottles
-
Prepare mixers, juices, and garnishes
-
Clear glassware and maintain bar cleanliness
-
Remove trash and clean spills throughout shift
-
Assist bartenders during busy periods (if of legal serving age)

Support food running when needed
-
Maintain restrooms and surrounding bar areas
Requirements
-
Strong work ethic and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Team-oriented with a positive attitude
-
Ability to lift and move heavy items (kegs, cases, etc.)

Willingness to learn and grow into a bartending role
Employee Housing (Limited Availability)
Limited dorm-style employee housing may be available for seasonal staff (18+):

Located near the resort in Elkhart Lake

Cost: $40 per week per employee

Housing is offered as a convenience for employees relocating to the area.
